Service To Our Community

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?”
-Martin Luther King Jr.

The Advocacy Group believes in community building. Our local community in Los Angeles is made up of caring families and individuals who are here to serve. Join us this holiday in taking action to support people in need of a helping hand. Here are some organizations in need of support and examples of giving projects you can organize in your own community. Because truly, giving is the best form of self care. #stepupforothers

Costume drive, warm coat drive, school backpack drive…

The possibilities are endless and the work minimal. This type of service can be done at any age at your child’s school, your families place of worship, local sports facility.

Holiday Adopt a Family

During the holidays, many local non-profit organizations and outreach services have programs that allow families to “adopt” a family in need. The two families are matched up and a wish list is given to the adopting family, This gives your children the opportunity to buy/shop for a gift for a child close to their age.
